Objective
Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival is an annual theatre festival organised by Rangashankara. Our task was to position the festival as a premier cultural event, driving interest, boosting ticket sales and enhancing visibility for Vodafone.
Idea
In 2008, the festival paid tribute to Indian theatre’s golden era through a curation of iconic plays. Our idea was simple: to paint popular characters in golden hues, symbolising the timeless brilliance of Indian performance art.
Outcome
Record-breaking attendance, widespread media coverage and vibrant audience engagement. The festival strengthened its cultural brand, deepened ties within the theatre community and delivered strong visibility for Vodafone India.
