Objective
Promote the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival by giving audiences a taste of Indian theatre’s golden era. Drive awareness and engagement while highlighting the festival’s unique celebration of heritage and storytelling.
Idea
As part of the festival’s promotional activities, we created a radio spot inspired by one of the iconic golden-era plays where men traditionally played female roles. The spot captured the charm, humour, and theatricality of the era, translating it into a playful, relatable audio experience for listeners.
Outcome
The radio spot struck a chord with audiences, generating strong recall and excitement for the festival. It helped deepen engagement with theatre enthusiasts and reinforced the festival’s image as a celebration of India’s rich theatrical heritage.
