Objective
When OYO entered the Dubai market, the challenge wasn’t awareness alone – it was trust and familiarity in a crowded hospitality landscape. Instead of spending heavily on conventional launch advertising, OYO wanted rapid reach, genuine credibility, and real conversations among people who actually stay in hotels.
Idea
We turned customers into OYO’s loudest advocates. A simple, tongue-in-cheek referral campaign offered a free stay for bringing friends on board. No grand promises. No glossy travel clichés. Just casual, relatable communication that felt more like friendly advice than advertising. The campaign leaned into everyday humour and simplicity, making sharing OYO feel effortless and rewarding.
Outcome
The campaign travelled faster than any media plan could. Word of mouth did the heavy lifting, driving strong recall, rapid familiarity, and organic buzz across Dubai.
